Our principal engineer is an ex-Control Engineer, with an Electrical and Electronic Engineering Degree from Liverpool John Moores University ( '85 ). Prior to launching this business ( in Nov '04 ), he worked designing software for industrial applications. This has given him an unique understanding of control and engineering, why things work, rather than just having been told or reading about them in a text book. You'll benefit from the control knowledge that comes with years of experience. So if your shower isn't pumping out with the force that you'd expect OR your cold water header tank is getting warm OR your two way landing switch isn't working - we can sort it.

We provide

- Tailor made solutions for domestic and business customers. We will be happy to come out to your premises and give you a quotation for the work that you are considering.

- Electrical Test Inspection certificates for each electrical job that we carry out ( * ) and all our work is compliant with the new 'Part P' section of the building regulations which are now mandatory ( since the 1st Jan 2005 ).

( * ) - Sometimes householders ask us to do work that they can carry out themselves - and under these circumstances it is up to the customer to advise us, considering the extra cost, as to whether they wish a certificate to be issued for the work. ( Without going into the detail here - for all but the smallest jobs the person doing the work must be qualified and a member of a scheme and able to issue certificates for the work, OR he/she has to seek prior approval from the local authority's building control, then call them out again to inspect the work after completion - and show all the certificates and measurements to prove that the installation is safe. )

- As you can see from the Logo on the top right hand side - we are Domestic Installers registered with the NICEIC. ( See under the Part P section of this website )

Please remember that our quotations include certification ( where appropriate ) and the issuing of Certificates, and where necessary, notification to Building Control. If you choose to make comparisons between different contractors, please make sure you are comparing like - for - like. If you engage our services you will receive :-

1. An Electrical Installation Certificate OR an Electrical Minor Works Certificate    OR   a Periodic Inspection Report.
   
   

2. Accompanying the certificate / report  you will receive  a  Schedule of  Tests Results.

4. We have devised a drawing schematic which shows the position of all the electrical sockets, lights and switches - this is unique to our business - See this example
   
   

5. Notification from Building Control that the work has been registered at your property has been registered with them.  - ( if the work carried out requires registration with the Local Authority's Building Control ).

All of the above only applicable to Electrical aspects of our work.

(  At the moment we are not GAS SAFE ( what used to be called CORGI ) registered but may be so in the future, so at present we are unable to fit or service gas appliances. ) - Work on boilers is only the water and electrical aspects not the gas.

( * )  - When presented in HTM form this certificate misses out lines and details - but prints out perfectly for the customer.
